Abuse has many different forms and trauma is experienced at different levels for each individual. Being a business coach for women and working with many women on their relationship with money and business, I have learnt that the masculine and feminine energies women grow up with have a great impact on how they do money.
Women by nature have strengths that set them up to be very successful in business and life. The qualities of collaboration, care and good intuitive skills are some of the assets women or men who are in touch with their feminine essence have in abundance.
If a woman grew up with a father who didn’t have a balanced and well developed masculine energy (he was controlling instead of protective) controlling of the mother or the daughter and she witnessed that, it affects how comfortable she can be in her feminine(receiving) energy. If she witnessed her mother (her first feminine teacher uncomfortable to receive due to the fear of a controlling, dominant husband) it will set up the fear energy in her psyche when it comes to receiving wealth from clients and men in general.
Similarly, if she had a father who was open to sharing wealth, but a mother who had her own wounds and didn’t allow herself to receive wealth and was angry or hostile, that too will affect a woman in how she does money when she grows up. All of the dynamics she grew up with affect her ability to receive wealth in every area of her life.
It will also affect her ability to take action as she doesn’t have a good balance of masculine and feminine energy to move forward. She can be in an unbalanced masculine energy by working really hard without first listening to her natural intuitive feminine energy that can support her to take divinely aligned inspired actions.
A well developed masculine energy is a beautiful protective energy, a poorly developed masculine energy controls because of fear. We work on all of it in our business and money work. It transforms lives.
We don’t need to wait for a man or to create a new father:) to move the masculine, feminine balance in our psychic. We need to be willing to heal.
I still remember one of my clients who was super talented, working extremely hard to have a successful business and still not making as much money as her talents could grant her to make. Co-incidentally, she was having a conflict with one of her male colleagues over money that was causing a lot of her energy to leak, her energy was literally invested in being angry at how unfairly he treated her over the money dispute they had.
Before our V.I.P money day I suggested, if it was ok that before taking action on what needs to happen to dissolve the conflict with this male colleague, we did all the internal exercises in our V.I.P Day. During our V.I.P day, we tapped on a memory of her father who promised her single mum and her (his daughter) that he will pay for her college education. He promised other things throughout her adult life, but he never delivered. She was furious, let down, unfairly treated and betrayed.
Once the energy towards her father was clear (the first man who caused the injury), she didn’t think it was worth suing her colleague over the money betrayal. She was soft, forgiving, relieved and in awe of her feminine essence that could create a lot of money with ease from that powerful place of letting go. During our work together over the year, she created a lot of money after her money energy leaks were healed.
She had opportunities literally fell on her lap that she may have missed before. An opportunity to travel a foreign country to teach the work she loved. People literally started paying her asking price for her services instead of asking for a discount as they did prior to us working together. Her relationships changed so did her life.
Relational traumas have so much affect on women and their ability to make money. Once we heal those traumas, we transform our lives and the lives of others whom we touch with our powerful divine feminine selves.
We no longer need to fight for our rights, we can ‘be,’ for our rights. We can bless forgive and release all those who have hurt us as they gave us the gifts of healing.
